Special Assets Restructuring – Wholesale & Corporate Specialist

About the role

The role focuses on evaluating the bank's corporate loan portfolio, minimizing potential losses, and maximizing recoveries. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement solutions that help clients overcome financial difficulties while protecting the bank's interests.

Key responsibilities

• Implement departmental policies, processes and procedures, ensuring compliance and controlled execution.
• Assess the corporate loan portfolio, identify non‑performing loans (ratings RB 21‑23) and provide accurate projections.
• Coordinate with Business Heads for proactive portfolio management and develop provision calculations in line with Basel regulations.
• Manage relationships with borrowers, negotiate settlements, draft term sheets and support payment initiatives.
• Ensure all collaterals and securities are identified and utilized according to credit risk requirements.
• Collaborate with Corporate Banking, Collections, Legal and other units to enforce legal measures for debt recovery.
• Prepare analytical reports under IFRS 9, highlighting loan performance, bad debt status and risk indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate loan portfolio assessment and non‑performing loan management.
• Strong understanding of Basel regulatory framework and IFRS 9 reporting standards.
• Ability to develop provision forecasts and conduct feasibility studies for restructuring solutions.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal business units and external stakeholders.
