Specialist - Software Engineering

About the role

This position is for a Specialist in Software Engineering based in Saudi Arabia. You will design and build scalable cloud‑native applications using modern engineering practices and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full‑stack applications with .NET Core, C#, and AWS services.
• Build and maintain backend services, frontend components, database integrations, and serverless solutions.
• Create and document RESTful APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Implement AWS solutions such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, X‑Ray, and event‑driven architectures.
• Consume and produce infrastructure templates with AWS CDK in collaboration with cloud engineering teams.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git‑based workflows.
• Apply automated testing (NUnit, xUnit) and follow Test‑Driven Development principles.
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning.
• Collaborate with distributed global teams on solution design, architecture reviews, performance optimization, and observability.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of professional software development experience with full‑stack expertise.
• Strong hands‑on experience with .NET Core 6/8 and C#.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and database scripting.
• Experience building APIs using AWS serverless and event‑driven architectures.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with global teams.
