Specialist Staff Nurse – Outpatient Department

About the role

As an OPD registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients visiting the center, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs, report changes promptly, and take action in urgent situations.
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of planning, implementing, evaluating, and revising care plans.
• Deliver evidence‑based nursing care in line with best practice guidelines and regulations.
• Educate patients and families on health issues, treatment plans, and self‑care techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, documenting interventions and outcomes.
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and act as a preceptor for new employees.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (preferably Saudi).
• Current and valid SCFHS nursing license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in an outpatient care setting.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification as needed.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications required for the position.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs.
