Specialist TGM Controls – Gas Detection & Instrumentation

About the role

The Specialist TGM Controls will join a leading building operation & maintenance project in Saudi Arabia, focusing on the safe handling and monitoring of toxic and flammable gases. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting gas delivery and detection systems.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas delivery equipment, gas cabinets (automatic & manual), and gas detection systems.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on mechanical components, piping, valves, and control panels.
• Conduct cylinder change‑outs, gas line integrity tests, and verification of valve manifolds.
• Calibrate sensors, analyze air‑quality data, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Utilize PLC and SCADA systems for real‑time monitoring and control.
• Use maintenance software to close work orders and tickets on time.
• Write and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Bio‑Chemistry, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience handling toxic and flammable gas distribution and detection systems.
• Knowledge of gas cabinets, manifolds, VMB, and major detector brands (Honeywell, RKI, ATI).
• Understanding of mechanical equipment, piping, valving, and regulation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
