Specialty Coffee Barista, Cashier & Trainer – Luxury Concept

About the role

A new luxury specialty coffee concept is building its founding team in Riyadh. The team will create a personalized service ritual where every guest is recognised and each cup feels bespoke.

Key responsibilities

• Dial in espresso and filter recipes daily, ensuring consistent extraction across shifts.
• Prepare espresso, manual brew and signature drinks to exact specifications and presentation standards.
• Remember regular guests’ preferences and confirm them quickly and accurately.
• Maintain spotless, calibrated equipment and handle high‑volume peaks without compromising quality.
• Greet and recognise returning guests, manage order flow, handle cash and digital payments, and produce end‑of‑shift reports with zero discrepancy.
• Build and deliver a comprehensive barista training program, audit recipes and service standards, lead cuppings and new‑menu development, and prepare team members for SCA certifications.

Required profile

• Baristas with at least 2 years of specialty coffee experience who can demonstrate espresso calibration and latte art in a practical trial.
• Cashiers/Guest Hosts fluent in Arabic and English, confident in guest communication and POS operation.
• Certified Coffee Trainers with 4 + years of formal training experience, a training portfolio, and preferably SCA Trainer or Q‑Grader credentials.

Required skills

• Espresso calibration and milk texturing (latte art).
• Manual brewing methods: V60, Chemex, AeroPress, batch brew.
• POS operation, cash handling and digital payment systems (Apple Pay, QR).
• SCA certifications (Barista Skills Intermediate/Professional, Brewing, Sensory) – AST or Q‑Grader a strong plus.
• Valid municipality health certificate or ability to obtain one.
