Spigot Chamfering Operator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Spigot Chamfering Operator to join our ductile‑iron pipe and fittings manufacturing department in Saudi Arabia. The role involves operating and maintaining chamfering equipment to produce high‑quality spigot ends for 10‑inch pipes on a long‑term project.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor spigot chamfering machines according to production schedules.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and CNC programs to ensure correct dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform precision measuring and quality inspections on finished components.
• Carry out routine tool and spindle maintenance, as well as hydraulic system checks.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Handle raw material and finished parts, coordinating workflow with the production team.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI or 10th grade qualification in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in pipe manufacturing or similar metalworking environments.
• Proven experience operating CNC‑controlled chamfering or similar machining equipment.
