Sr. Project Controls Manager

About the role

The Project Control Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting project performance across scope, schedule, cost, risk and resources. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with organisational objectives by establishing robust controls and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project control frameworks, procedures and standards.
• Establish project baselines for scope, schedule and budget and monitor progress against milestones.
• Identify schedule variances, recommend corrective actions and manage change and configuration control.
• Track project budgets, forecasts and expenditures, analyse cost performance and provide variance reports.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, conduct schedule risk analysis and critical path assessments.
• Identify, assess and monitor project risks, maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Develop key performance indicators, project dashboards and provide trend analysis to leadership.
• Prepare and present project status reports, facilitate review meetings and ensure compliance with policies and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, vendors and stakeholders to communicate performance and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Finance or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project controls, project management or PMO roles.
• Experience managing large‑scale projects and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Relevant certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or PMI‑SP preferred.
