Staff Battery & Inverter Process Engineer

About the role

The Staff Battery & Inverter Process Engineer will be the senior technical lead for high‑voltage battery pack and inverter assembly processes at Lucid’s new AMP‑2 greenfield facility. This role defines end‑to‑end manufacturing processes from first principles, governs PFMEA, PPAP and SPC, and is accountable for first‑pass yield, Cpk, and NPI readiness while ensuring HV safety.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the complete process flow, specifications, critical characteristics, control methods and reaction plans for battery and inverter production.
• Lead PFMEA registers, control‑plan governance under IATF 16949, and PPAP deliverables including MSA, Cpk/Ppk, run‑at‑rate and PSW submissions.
• Deploy MES‑integrated SPC across key parameters and ensure full genealogy and traceability of cells, modules, packs and inverters.
• Support TPM deployment, equipment OEE improvement, predictive maintenance and HV safety compliance with relevant standards.
• Mentor Saudi national engineers/technicians, develop training materials and build local capability.
