Staff Testing Engineer

About the role

The Staff Testing Engineer, Powertrain owns the test infrastructure across the AMP‑2 Powertrain facility, defining architecture, MSA governance, calibration standards and correlation methodology from commissioning through volume ramp to SOP. This senior technical authority works through disciplined change control, objective launch evidence and cross‑functional problem solving, transferring technical ownership to the Saudi workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end Powertrain test infrastructure, including DU EOL, Battery EOL, Inverter test and dynamometer cells.
• Define test system architecture, hardware, software and data standards, and govern test‑cell readiness and validation.
• Establish MSA methodology, gauge R&R compliance and test‑data architecture integrated with MES and analytics platforms.
• Develop test correlation strategies, deploy data analytics for early defect detection and support product validation and design engineering.
• Support TPM, autonomous maintenance, OEE improvement, predictive maintenance and HV safety compliance with IEC and ISO standards.
• Participate in launch governance, safe‑launch activities, capacity verification and QRQC/RCCA during ramp‑up.
