Static Technician III – Maintenance & Installation

About the role

The Static Technician III is responsible for maintaining and repairing static equipment and process piping systems within KBR’s oil‑and‑gas facilities in Saudi Arabia. The role involves installing, testing, and ensuring the reliability of equipment in accordance with SATORP procedures and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work instructions, drawings and specifications and execute tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Lead a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance and repair of static equipment and piping.
• Operate heavy‑duty specialized tools and basic machine tools such as grinders, power saws, drill presses and threading machines.
• Conduct hydro‑static and pneumatic testing, obtain required permits and adhere to SATORP safety guidelines.
• Perform housekeeping, report near‑misses, unsafe conditions and ensure work is completed to quality and schedule.
• Participate in scheduled safety and technical training.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in oil‑and‑gas maintenance.
• High school diploma; a diploma with two additional years of experience is also acceptable.
• Valid certification from a recognized third‑party body or accredited Saudi institute.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management in oil‑and‑gas facilities.
• Well‑organized, proactive and excellent communication skills.
