Steel Structure Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Steel Structure Supervisor will lead subcontractor activities for steel structure erection on the AMIRAL P02&03 project at the SATORP Refinery in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the project management team, the supervisor ensures that construction works follow the approved schedules, budgets, quality standards and HSE procedures throughout the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify supplier material and technical documentation against construction schedules and contractual commitments.
• Approve subcontractor method statements and monitor their correct implementation on site.
• Enforce HSE procedures and actively participate in site HSE activities as defined in the Site HSE plan.
• Monitor progress against the erection schedule and initiate corrective actions to recover delays.
• Validate that subcontractor equipment and manpower are adequate and that work complies with design documents, safety regulations and quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections, sign certificates per Site Inspection Plans, and maintain non‑conformity registers for each subcontractor.
• Coordinate resolution of non‑conformities and ensure proper documentation and closure.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising steel structure construction and managing subcontractor performance.
• Familiarity with reviewing technical documentation, method statements and construction schedules.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and ability to implement them on site.
• Capability to perform inspections, issue certificates and manage non‑conformity registers.
