Stewarding Supervisor

About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will lead the Night Stewarding team at InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation and equipment maintenance across all kitchen and dishwashing areas.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold hygiene and sanitation regulations and report any deficiencies.
• Lead, coach and supervise the Night Stewarding team, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Assist culinary and steward management teams to optimise performance.
• Support food safety and production compliance initiatives.
• Conduct training and maintain effective relationships with staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of kitchen and dishroom equipment.
• Enforce company health, safety, first‑aid, fire and emergency procedures.
• Identify and rectify hazardous situations, reporting major concerns to the Chief Steward.
• Review security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory set‑up and ensure all designated areas are properly serviced.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a stewarding or related hospitality role.
• Ability to lead a team during night shifts.
• Familiarity with health, safety and food safety policies.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving.
