Stock Coordinator

About the role

The Stock Coordinator ensures that merchandise moves smoothly from receipt to the sales floor. Working closely with store management and sales staff, this role maintains accurate inventory records, safeguards product quality, and supports a well‑organized retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and count merchandise both physically and electronically to verify accuracy.
• Inspect product quality, report damaged items to the store manager or assistant manager.
• Store and handle merchandise properly to prevent damage.
• Classify, tag, and stock products in the stockroom according to store procedures.
• Assist sales staff in replenishing shelves to ensure product availability.
• Maintain vigilance over store security and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Record inventory movements (inward/outward) and generate related reports.
• Check for missing price tags and support stock‑take processes.
• Work flexible hours during sales events or festival periods and handle lifting of up to 10 kg.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking stock.
• Previous experience in a stock, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
• Physically fit with the capacity to lift around 10 kg regularly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with store management and sales teams.
