Strategic Planning Manager

About the role

The Strategic Planning Manager will lead the development and execution of Riyad Bank’s enterprise‑wide strategy. This senior position ensures that strategic initiatives are aligned with the bank’s business plan and that progress is monitored and reported to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation of an enterprise‑wide strategy and translate it into executable initiatives.
• Manage the bank’s business plan, ensuring alignment with the ePMO and monitoring aspiration targets.
• Oversee the strategy delivery lifecycle, including pre‑project business case development and project approval.
• Provide guidance to initiative owners and portfolio heads to ensure proper execution.
• Deliver market insights and research on the banking industry.
• Act as custodian of the overall strategy, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare timely and accurate steering‑committee reports.
• Lead people‑management activities, focusing on performance, development plans and Saudi national talent development.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance across the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Strategy or Finance.
• 8‑10 years of experience in strategy development and execution.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
