Student Co‑op Training – Quality (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Bechtel is offering a student co‑op training program focused on Quality for the Ar Rjum gold mining project in Saudi Arabia. The 12‑month placement provides hands‑on exposure to quality management processes across engineering, operations and reporting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist quality vertical leaders with daily tasks and project activities.
• Learn and apply the systems and procedures used in quality assurance and control.
• Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports and develop supporting databases.
• Shadow experienced professionals and participate in training workshops.
• Conduct research, analysis and contribute ideas to improve project outcomes.

Required profile

• Final‑year undergraduate student pursuing a B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Eligible to receive academic credit for the co‑op as part of university curriculum.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5/4.0 (or equivalent).
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of engineering principles in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
