Supervisor – External Auditor (KSA Nationals)

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Supervisor – External Auditor to join its financial services audit team in Khobar. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality audit engagements, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with stakeholder and regulator expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit services, including auditing financial statements, disclosures, and client deliverables.
• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategies in line with professional standards.
• Evaluate audit work requirements while considering all relevant regulations.
• Supervise and develop junior team members by delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Draft audit reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
• Apply complex accounting and auditing concepts to client situations.
• Monitor engagement progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Assess risk, design audit procedures, and communicate them to the team.
• Maintain productive relationships with audit client personnel throughout the year.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Performance Manager.
• Stay current with developments in the audit field.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent).
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proven experience with a leading professional services firm, preferably a Big 4 or Big 10 organization.
