Supply Chain Analyst – Drilling & Completion

About the role

The Supply Chain Analyst will support Saudi Aramco's drilling and completion operations by developing and executing contractual strategies, driving cost‑saving initiatives, and managing the procurement of materials and services. The role requires deep expertise in unconventional resources and a strong command of supply chain and category management principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement contractual strategies for drilling & completion categories.
• Identify and execute cost‑reduction opportunities across materials and services.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance using Ariba and SAP platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with project goals.
• Maintain accurate category data, market intelligence, and spend analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive, field‑based experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling and completion categories and supply chain management.
• Proven experience in unconventional resources and developing cost‑saving initiatives.
• Preferred certification: Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
