Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Wood is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support end‑to‑end sourcing and procurement activities for medium‑risk packages in Al‑Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will ensure that all supply‑chain tasks align with project schedules, budgets, and contractual requirements while promoting safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sourcing cycle from strategy through close‑out for assigned procurement packages.
• Update project and procurement status reports, flagging any delays to the supply‑chain lead.
• Participate in regular PSR meetings with clients, engineering, and project management to maintain pre‑order deliverable dates.
• Provide guidance on contractual obligations to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Utilise Wood’s Approved Supplier Register and conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and audit requirements.
• Capture internal and external savings targets and support global or regional initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (ISCED Level 6) in business, supply‑chain, procurement or related field; CIPS qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supply‑chain experience with demonstrable results.
• Strong knowledge of supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, subcontract and framework agreements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and client contract requirements.
