Tax & Zakat Supervisor

About the role

Reef Group is looking for an experienced Tax & Zakat Supervisor to lead its tax function in Saudi Arabia and across the GCC. The role involves ensuring full compliance with local tax and zakat regulations while supporting the company’s financial governance and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, WHT, RETT, tax recoveries and reconciliations.
• Monitor legislative changes and advise the business on tax risk mitigation.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and policies in line with local and international standards.
• Prepare periodic tax and zakat reports for senior management.
• Review invoices, accounting entries and commercial contracts for correct tax treatment.
• Develop and improve tax policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead and coach the Tax & Zakat team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Participate in finance transformation and ERP implementation projects to embed tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of tax and zakat experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Hands‑on experience with VAT, Zakat, WHT and Corporate Income Tax.
• Practical knowledge of transfer pricing policies and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
