TBL Equipment Operator – SMP

About the role

The TBL Equipment Operator – SMP is responsible for safely starting, operating and shutting down TBL packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures production targets are met while adhering to strict health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with EHS policies, apply risk controls and ensure safety of all personnel in the work area.
• Start, operate and shut down TBL equipment according to production plans, ISO container handling and quality objectives.
• Follow all operating procedures, checklists and guidelines to maintain uninterrupted plant operation.
• Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain accurate field data logs, report any abnormal conditions and ensure clear documentation in eSOMS.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and act as relief head operator when required.

Required profile

• Ability to read, analyse and interpret technical procedures, regulations and industry publications.
• Strong written communication skills for reporting and preparing procedure manuals.
• Effective verbal communication using radio, telephone and other plant communication tools.
