Team Leader – In-Villa Dining

About the role

The Team Leader – In‑Villa Dining oversees the daily operations of the In‑Villa Dining service at a luxury resort, ensuring that every guest receives a seamless, high‑quality dining experience in line with Rosewood brand standards. This hands‑on leader works across all service periods, coordinating with Order Taking, Culinary, Stewarding and Front Office teams to deliver food and beverages to guest rooms and villas with precision and elegance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain In‑Villa Dining operations to meet Rosewood, Forbes and LQA standards.
• Supervise service flow, order delivery, and coordination among Order Taking, Culinary, Stewarding and service associates.
• Monitor order accuracy, delivery times, food quality, presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Engage with guests, handle feedback, special requests, dietary requirements and service recovery.
• Conduct daily briefings, pre‑service checks and ensure cleanliness of trays, trolleys and service areas.
• Support VIP amenities, special occasions and guest recognition initiatives.
• Assist with revenue awareness, upselling, billing accuracy and cost‑control measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in in‑villa dining, room service or luxury hotel food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on team performance.
• Excellent guest service orientation and ability to handle complex requests.
• Attention to detail, high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Rosewood brand standards, Forbes standards and LQA requirements.
• Familiarity with order‑taking and billing systems used in luxury hospitality.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and service sequencing.
