Tech Planning Expert

About the role

The Tech Planning Expert will support the development and execution of technology plans for MCN and BCN networks. You will translate service requirements into technical specifications, estimate budgets and enable infrastructure planning to ensure optimal service delivery across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a framework to convert MCN and BCN service and network requirements into technical specifications, SLAs and feature definitions.
• Translate technology architecture and designs into actionable delivery plans, defining sites, nodes, platforms, resilience and fail‑over capabilities.
• Assess future network needs, testing methodologies and business architecture implications to support emerging technologies.
• Design scalable infrastructure and network expansion plans that integrate new innovations.
• Estimate technology budgets for new technologies, network expansion and service upgrades.
• Coordinate with Strategy & Governance, Finance and Commercial teams to manage budgets and allocate resources cost‑effectively.
• Participate in lab and testing activities to validate network and application performance against SLAs.
• Conduct benchmarking reviews and contribute to proof‑of‑concepts for prospective MCN and BCN customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in technology planning, infrastructure design or network expansion.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and align technical solutions with financial objectives.
