Technical Data Lead

About the role

CoorB is looking for a Technical Data Lead to provide hands‑on technical leadership across our current and future data platforms. You will ensure legacy business logic is correctly understood, guide migration to target‑state architecture, and validate migration outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across ETL, data modeling, BI, data quality and migration workstreams.
• Review existing pipelines, reports, data models, stored procedures, MDM flows and platform dependencies.
• Translate architecture decisions into concrete technical tasks and guide developers.
• Validate that business logic is accurately carried into the target architecture.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate or retire legacy logic.
• Review source‑to‑target mappings, technical designs, code, pipelines and reconciliation outputs.
• Enforce naming conventions, development standards, lineage requirements and deployment discipline.
• Coordinate with the Data Architect on design decisions and support issue resolution in both current and target environments.
• Ensure safe and validated decommissioning of legacy components.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise data platforms, ETL, data warehousing, BI and data migration.
• Proficient SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and resolving complex data issues.
• Ability to understand and map source‑to‑target data, perform reconciliation and validate migration results.
