Technical Lead – Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead who will drive the design and delivery of scalable web applications. The role blends hands‑on full‑stack development with architectural ownership and team mentorship, using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js and AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of front‑end applications with React and Next.js.
• Architect and supervise back‑end services built with Node.js, Express and NestJS.
• Design, implement and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and work with MongoDB, DynamoDB and Redis where required.
• Define and maintain cloud architecture on AWS, ensuring scalability, security and reliability.
• Guide Docker‑based containerisation and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews and mentorship to ensure high‑quality code and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish coding standards, development workflows and version‑control strategies using Git.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of full‑stack development experience, including a technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with a primary focus on React.
• Advanced experience with the Next.js framework.
• Solid background in Node.js, Express and NestJS.
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with MongoDB, DynamoDB and Redis.
• Proven experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS and EventBridge.
• Practical knowledge of Docker containerisation.
