Technical Manager – Construction & Engineering

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering and construction activities for a major automotive industrial development in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). You will provide technical governance, ensure design constructability, and support the project through commissioning to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical governance across engineering and construction disciplines.
• Review and coordinate consultant engineering designs for constructability and compliance.
• Manage technical queries, engineering changes, and deviations.
• Oversee civil, structural, and building‑system compliance, as well as MEP and utility integration.
• Coordinate interfaces between building services and production equipment.
• Resolve multidisciplinary engineering conflicts and review construction methodologies for high‑risk activities.
• Manage engineering risk, technical change control, and support quality inspections and ITP requirements.
• Support integrated testing, commissioning, and review as‑built drawings and O&M documentation.
• Facilitate final hand‑over and operational readiness with consultants, contractors, utility providers, and equipment suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience, including multi‑site project exposure.
• Strong background in design management and construction technical assurance.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities, preferably automotive.
• Proven multidisciplinary civil/structural/MEP interface expertise.
• Extensive testing, commissioning and hand‑over experience.
• Preferably experience in GCC/KSA.
