Technical Manager - Project Management & Strategic Planning

About the role

Surbana Jurong Group, a global urban, infrastructure and managed services consulting firm, is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to support the management of major infrastructure programmes and capital portfolios. The role combines project management operations, PMO governance, strategic planning, performance monitoring and portfolio reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project management operations within a PMO environment.
• Develop, review and improve project management policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Support strategic planning and the management of capital project portfolios.
• Monitor project and portfolio performance against strategic objectives, schedules and delivery targets.
• Prepare and analyse project performance reports, KPIs and management dashboards.
• Oversee the implementation of project management systems and Enterprise Project Management (EPM) tools.
• Coordinate project data, reporting processes and performance monitoring across infrastructure programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in project management operations, PMO, strategic planning or capital portfolio management.
• Demonstrated experience in PMO operations and project management governance.
• Experience developing and reviewing project management policies, procedures and processes.
• Experience in strategic planning and capital portfolio management.

Required skills

• Preparing and analysing project performance reports, KPIs and management dashboards.
• Enterprise Project Management (EPM) software.
