Technical Office Leader

About the role

Green Group is seeking a Technical Office Leader to head the technical office functions for its construction projects in Riyadh. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on technical management, ensuring seamless coordination between design, procurement and site execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Technical Office Department and its engineering team.
• Oversee preparation, review and approval of shop drawings, BOQs, technical submittals, RFIs and project documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, project managers, site teams and subcontractors.
• Provide technical guidance throughout all project phases.
• Monitor progress to ensure compliance with contracts, specifications and quality standards.
• Review cost estimates, quantity take‑offs, variation orders and value‑engineering proposals.
• Support project planning, risk mitigation and decision‑making processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of technical office operations and engineering workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 7 years of construction industry experience, including at least 3 years in a technical office leadership role.
• Strong background in construction and finishing projects across residential, commercial and large‑scale sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with engineering software used for shop drawings, BOQs and submittals.
