Technical Professional – Frac/Acid Operations

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Technical Professional to support frac and acid treatments on wellsites. You will apply subsurface, rock mechanics and fluid mechanics knowledge to plan, execute, and analyze treatment operations while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and analysis during planning and execution of frac and acid jobs.
• Analyze pressure data while pumping and perform diagnostic pumping techniques.
• Conduct pre‑job fluid testing, analysis, and verify equipment and material readiness.
• Document technical activities during and after jobs and validate end‑of‑job packets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Business Development, and Service Coordinators to ensure efficient job execution.
• Support remote viewing operations (RTO) and operate job‑monitoring software.
• Assist technology teams in rolling out new surface and subsurface technologies.
• Mentor and develop Associate Technical Professionals.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in petroleum engineering operations or related field.
• Willingness to work primarily field‑based (onsite) with travel to wellsites.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers and internal teams.
