Technical Service Manager, MENA

About the role

The Technical Service Manager for the MENA region will provide customer‑focused technical support to improve flock performance, optimise product outcomes and strengthen long‑term relationships with key poultry producers. Working closely with commercial and specialist teams, the role translates technical expertise into measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular, structured technical visits to key customers and respond to operational needs, complaints or requests.
• Lead six‑monthly customer review meetings, presenting performance data, improvement opportunities and partnership value.
• Develop, implement and monitor customer improvement plans and annual Product Improvement Plans.
• Track breeder first‑week mortality, weekly chick shipments and trial runs, identifying trends and mitigating performance risks.
• Record all technical visits, interactions and follow‑up actions in the Aviagen Macro CRM system and ensure data is submitted to internal tracking tools.
• Collect competitor production and performance data for internal databases.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in technical service or management within the poultry or agricultural sector.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data‑driven decision making.
