Technical Support Engineer – Retail IT (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Technical Support Engineer to join ABYAT’s Technology Infrastructure team in Al Qasim, Saudi Arabia. The role provides first‑line support for end‑users across retail stores and corporate offices, ensuring the reliability of devices, Microsoft 365 services, POS systems and the broader IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line technical assistance for hardware, software, Windows OS and peripheral devices.
• Administer Active Directory – create, modify and manage user accounts and access rights.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams and Office.
• Troubleshoot networking issues including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Maintain and support retail technology including POS terminals, barcode scanners and receipt printers.
• Log and resolve incidents and service requests using the IT ticketing system, keeping accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk or service desk environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
