Technical Support Specialist – WAY4 Platform

About the role

The Technical Support Specialist is the first point of contact for incidents raised by the L1 team on the WAY4 payment platform. You will own issues from detection through resolution, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure smooth production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for L1 support (OCC, CSE, Business) and manage all incidents.
• Provide solutions when L3 engineering is not required and coordinate escalations when it is.
• Work closely with engineers, business analysts and architects to prepare fixes for development sprints.
• Maintain and improve the technical backlog, focusing on security, stability and performance.
• Support incident managers and ensure proper hand‑over to L3 engineering.
• Monitor servers and deploy fixes on Unix and Windows environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting payment‑related applications and card system integrations.
• Experience with Level‑2 support for Card Management Systems.
• Familiarity with WAY4 modules such as Issuing, Acquiring, Advanced Application, Daily Procedures, Products, Tariff Management, Service Package, Accounting Schemes and Scheduler.
• Strong troubleshooting, functional testing and internal user training abilities.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
