Technology Release Specialist

About the role

Qiwa Technology is seeking a Technology Release Specialist to bring structure, governance, and confidence to its software releases. You will work in a fast‑paced engineering environment, coordinating releases that impact millions of digital service users across Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate releases across development, QA, DevOps, Security, Operations, and business teams.
• Own release calendars, deployment schedules, and readiness activities.
• Ensure releases meet governance requirements, including approvals, testing evidence, rollback plans, and change records.
• Identify and manage release risks, dependencies, and production readiness.
• Facilitate release planning meetings, CAB discussions, and deployment readiness reviews.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders before, during, and after deployments.
• Support post‑release validation and coordinate incident response when needed.
• Continuously improve release processes, governance, and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, IT Operations or Software Delivery.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, software deployment processes, release governance and environment management.
• Experience working with technical and business stakeholders across multiple releases.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools, Change Management, CAB processes and release documentation.
• Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder‑management abilities.
