Technology Support Technician

About the role

The Technology Support Technician provides technical assistance for both remote and on‑site client environments, ensuring hardware and software solutions used by quick‑service restaurant (QSR) and retail customers operate smoothly. This full‑time position involves troubleshooting, repair, and customer interaction to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on desktop computers, drive‑thru systems, kiosks, digital signage and related peripherals.
• Respond to support tickets, guide customers through resolution steps and document incidents.
• Perform basic computer repair and maintenance activities.
• Escalate complex problems to senior technical staff when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support deployments, updates and system configurations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure consistent system performance.

Required profile

• Strong technical support and troubleshooting abilities for hardware and software environments.
• Experience in computer repair and desktop maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication in English.
• Familiarity with QSR or retail technology such as kiosks, POS systems and digital signage is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities and follow structured support processes.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in IT, computer science or a related field preferred.
• Valid driving licence and a self‑initiative mindset.
