Telecom Core Network Project Manager

About the role

The Telecom Core Network Project Manager will lead the delivery of compact and virtualized core network solutions, including LTE/5G core‑in‑a‑box and cloud‑native platforms. The role focuses on deploying, integrating, and optimizing core functions for enterprise customers, private LTE/5G networks, and rapid or remote deployment scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources and milestones for core network projects.
• Manage deployment of EPC, 5GC, private LTE and private 5G solutions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (core engineers, RAN engineers, IT/cloud specialists, system integrators).
• Oversee integration with RAN, transport/backhaul, OSS/BSS and service management platforms.
• Lead installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards, cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, issues and inter‑dependencies.
• Manage vendors, OEMs, system integrators and third‑party partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track progress and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience in telecom project management with a focus on core network deployments.
• Strong understanding of LTE and 5G core architectures, including virtualization and cloud‑native concepts.
