About the role

The Tender Unit Manager will lead the end‑to‑end tender process for our engineering consultancy, ensuring proposals are compliant, competitive and delivered on schedule. This senior‑level position combines strategic planning with hands‑on team leadership to drive business growth in the accounting and engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full tender lifecycle, from opportunity identification to final submission.
• Develop and implement tender strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market analysis.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, legal and technical teams to gather accurate information for bid documents.
• Prepare high‑quality tender documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency and professional presentation.
• Review submissions, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement within the tender team.
• Maintain relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders to enhance future tender opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activities to keep the tender approach up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading tender or bid teams in a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting and engineering consultancy markets.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence decision‑making.
