Teradata Data Mart & Semantic Layer Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Teradata Data Mart & Semantic Layer Developer to join a large‑scale banking and financial services programme. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, building, and maintaining semantic layer and data mart solutions that support critical reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain semantic layer and data mart solutions within Teradata environments.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable data models and reporting structures.
• Develop, optimise and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and Teradata BTEQ scripts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Support the enhancement of core banking and financial reporting data models.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with enterprise data‑governance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of experience in semantic layer and data mart development on Teradata projects.
• Strong understanding of core banking and financial services data models.
• Proven ability to analyse and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working in enterprise‑scale data‑warehouse and analytics environments, preferably in an Agile delivery setting.
