Therapeutic Specialist

About the role

Gilead is seeking a Therapeutic Specialist to drive product adoption and achieve sales targets within an assigned territory. The role combines deep therapeutic knowledge with strong relationship‑building to promote Gilead’s portfolio to healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve coverage, frequency, and sales targets for assigned territory.
• Promote appropriate use of Gilead products by leveraging product and disease knowledge.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and accounts.
• Support regional training and mentor team members.
• Monitor sales progress, create action plans, and report performance.
• Collaborate with external partners for co‑promotion activities.
• Represent Gilead at professional events and conferences.
• Work cross‑functionally with Medical Science Liaisons, Marketing, and Sales leadership on projects.
• Identify and communicate market issues and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer data, expense reports, and compliance with Gilead policies and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Proven interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
• Working knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and product portfolios.
• Awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Ability to operate in a compliant environment following FDA and corporate regulations.
