Tooling Coordinator

About the role

The Tooling Coordinator supports GE Vernova’s FieldCore team by managing tooling inventories, calibration records, and shipments. This role ensures that all kits and tools are accurately tracked, calibrated, and delivered on time to support field service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Track open tooling and calibration work orders and process them efficiently.
• Monitor shipments to customers and Field Service Representatives, ensuring kits are complete and include calibration certificates.
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, kits, and tools, updating the database with new purchases and calibration status.
• Coordinate packaging of supplies for outages and verify kit contents before shipping.
• Generate purchase orders to replenish stock and manage warranty records for parts.
• Work with Service Managers to schedule timely delivery of kits and arrange return shipments for repair or recalibration.
• Perform visual inspections of specialized kits received from sites and replace worn parts as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Experience in inventory control, shipping coordination, or related logistics functions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field service teams and vendors.
