Traffic and Detour Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a Traffic and Detour Inspector to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. The role focuses on overseeing traffic management and detour solutions for large‑scale civil engineering and transportation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Control and review all traffic management proposals during construction and for final highway configurations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary specialists and quality‑control teams to resolve design issues and changes.
• Oversee the review of contractor technical submissions, shop drawings, material specifications and design documents.
• Conduct final reviews of contractor drawings, schedules and material submittals to ensure compliance with project design concepts.
• Assess and report on value‑engineering proposals related to traffic and detour solutions.
• Collaborate with other supervision services and supervision teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transport or Traffic Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience on mega construction projects, specifically in on‑site traffic management.
• Strong knowledge of construction, design and engineering principles, local building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent communication, report writing and teamwork abilities.
• Valid Saudi Iqama (transferable for non‑Saudis) and SCE membership.
