Trainee Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join its engineering team. The role offers hands‑on training and involvement in design, testing and commissioning activities across industrial automation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in various training programmes to develop technical skills.
• Assist Lead Engineers with basic design engineering tasks, including graphics generation and preparation of design drawings.
• Support cabinet design, wiring layouts and related documentation.
• Contribute to factory acceptance testing (FAT) activities for projects.
• Take part in site acceptance testing, commissioning and start‑up phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or Process Control).
• Academic performance of at least 3.0 GPA on a 4‑point scale.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Basic understanding of system design engineering analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with IT fundamentals and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
