Transportation Specialist – Contract (Saudi Nationals)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Transportation Specialist to lead daily transport operations for a high‑profile project in Saudi Arabia. This contract position is site‑based in Jeddah or Riyadh and requires fast‑paced logistics planning, real‑time coordination, and strong stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily transportation of personnel, equipment and materials.
• Develop transport schedules, routing plans and deployment strategies.
• Coordinate with fleet providers, drivers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, movement tracking and operational efficiency.
• Manage transport requests, dispatching and contingency planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, traffic regulations and project protocols.
• Handle on‑ground issues, delays and last‑minute operational changes.
• Prepare reports on transport performance and resource usage.

Required profile

• Saudi national (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in transportation, fleet operations or logistics coordination, preferably in GCC/Saudi projects.
• Strong planning and problem‑solving abilities in high‑pressure environments.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

• Knowledge of transport management systems.
