Turnaround Maintenance Planner (TAM)

About the role

We are looking for a Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) Planner to lead the planning and preparation of major turnaround activities at our Jubail facility. The role involves defining scope, preparing schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring successful close‑out of all TAM projects.

Key responsibilities

• Extract TAM priority work orders from SAP and compile a comprehensive work list for review.
• Develop and approve the initial scope, present any changes, and prepare detailed contractor scopes with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Create and route job packages for approval, initiate purchase requisitions, and assign materials and services.
• Use Primavera P6 to develop and monitor pre‑TAM and execution schedules, including de‑commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Conduct schedule review meetings, publish baseline schedules at least four months before execution, and issue look‑ahead schedules.
• Track KPIs, monitor schedule compliance, and report deviations on a monthly basis.
• Provide daily status reports, hold shift‑based meetings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper close‑out of TAM activities, confirm TECO, archive feedback, manage material returns, and arrange refurbishment of spare components.
• Lead post‑commissioning critique meetings and compile the TAM Closeout Report.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in plant maintenance and turnaround planning.
• Strong work ethics, safety focus, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
