Turnaround Management & Strategic Planning Manager

About the role

The Manager, Turnaround Management, TAM & Strategic Planning leads the planning and execution of plant turnarounds and shutdowns while managing key technical accounts and driving strategic initiatives across the organization. This role ensures successful delivery of turnaround programs, strengthens stakeholder relationships, and supports corporate strategy to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of plant turnaround and shutdown projects.
• Manage technical accounts and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Monitor turnaround budgets, schedules, and safety performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the turnaround lifecycle.
• Oversee resource allocation, vendor contracts, and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical engineering or related field.
• MBA or master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or Strategic Management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in turnaround management, maintenance planning, or industrial operations.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
• Proven track record managing major turnaround/shutdown projects in petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas, power or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in strategic planning and performance management.
