Vehicle Operations Lead – Middle East

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Regional Operations Lead for Saudi Arabia to own vehicle operations for its SDS platform, starting with commercial trucking and expanding to other vehicle programs. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end execution, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency of autonomous‑enabled vehicles on public roads.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional vehicle operations, managing fleet readiness, site preparation, and daily execution for on‑road programs.
• Develop and own operational playbooks covering safety, incident response, and escalation across vehicle types.
• Drive regional growth strategy, creating ramp plans and scaling operations for multiple programs.
• Partner with engineering, product, safety, legal, OEMs and fleet customers to align milestones with safe execution.
• Implement safety protocols that meet local regulatory standards in high‑stakes public‑road environments.

Required profile

• Proven on‑road operations experience leading commercial vehicle, autonomy, or complex fleet programs.
• Track record of standing up and scaling multiple operational programs or vehicle lines.
• Hands‑on mindset comfortable working directly with commercial vehicles in real‑world settings.
• Experience managing multi‑site or regional operations, accounting for local regulations and infrastructure.
• Background partnering with OEMs, regulators, or fleet customers to deliver operational outcomes.

Required skills

• Experience owning safety processes and incident response for public‑road operations.
• Familiarity with KSA regulatory and infrastructure requirements for commercial vehicle operations.
