Vendor Management Specialist

About the role
The Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of vendor relationships, from selection and onboarding to performance monitoring and contract renewal. The role ensures that services delivered by external partners meet quality standards, comply with contractual terms, and achieve cost‑efficiency goals.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, select, and onboard new vendors in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Monitor vendor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and contract terms.
- Conduct regular vendor reviews, prepare performance reports, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
- Resolve vendor‑related issues, escalating risks when necessary.
- Support contract renewals, negotiations, and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, documentation, and communication logs.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure service quality and operational alignment.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2–7 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or contract administration.
- Strong understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and contract management principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with vendor management systems.
