VMware & Nutanix AHV Administrator

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced VMware & Nutanix AHV Administrator to manage and support its enterprise virtual infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of virtual environments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV clusters, hosts, and virtual machines.
• Perform VM provisioning, migration, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
• Support and optimise VMware Horizon VDI implementations.
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server environments, including patching, upgrades and configuration changes.
• Coordinate disaster‑recovery activities for virtual workloads.
• Conduct incident root‑cause analysis and provide on‑call support for critical issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, application and vendor teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and facilitate knowledge‑transfer.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with enterprise virtual infrastructure.
• VCP‑DCV certification (required).
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware Horizon VDI.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance‑optimisation skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL‑based Incident, Change and Release processes.
• Willingness to work onsite in Riyadh or offshore as project demands.
