VP of Finance – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on VP of Finance to join the leadership team of a fast‑growing technology and AI company based in Riyadh. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key partner in shaping long‑term financial strategy and preparing the business for a high‑profile IPO on the Saudi Exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end IPO readiness process, including financial structuring, regulatory compliance, shareholder meetings and exchange listing requirements.
• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy covering planning, forecasting, capital allocation and investor relations.
• Manage and mentor a Finance Director and a lean finance team, ensuring robust controls and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with the CEO on board‑level presentations, investor communications and high‑stakes decision making.
• Establish governance structures suitable for a listed entity and embed best‑in‑class financial processes.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in technology, AI or tech‑consulting sectors.
• Proven hands‑on experience taking a company through an IPO.
• Deep familiarity with the Saudi market and Tadawul regulations; Saudi national or Arabic‑speaking candidates preferred.
• Education from a top‑tier institution (e.g., Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford) and professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA).
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Riyadh.
