Waiter – Guest Service Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Waiter – Guest Service Expert to join our team at a luxury resort on Ummahat Island. You will help create memorable dining experiences by delivering attentive service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, ensuring proper presentation for guests.
• Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Interact with guests, answer questions, and respond to special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, work stations, and service supplies.
• Handle menus, verify items visually, and assist guests with menu selections.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb unassisted (or 50 lb with assistance), reaching overhead, and bending or stooping as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, company policies, and maintain a professional appearance.

Required skills

• Basic menu knowledge and ability to read and verify menu items.
• Strong interpersonal communication with guests and kitchen staff.
• Physical stamina to remain on feet for extended periods and handle moderate lifting.
