Waiter / Waitress – Luxury French & Italian Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Waiters and Waitresses to join the team at our signature French & Italian restaurant within Rosewood Red Sea. The successful candidate will deliver luxury dining experiences to an international clientele, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well‑served.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests, presenting the restaurant concept and menu with confidence.
• Explain dishes, ingredients, preparation methods and daily specials, and recommend food‑and‑wine pairings.
• Take accurate orders using the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system and serve food and beverages according to Rosewood luxury standards.
• Monitor tables, anticipate guest needs, and respond promptly with professionalism and discretion.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery with empathy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service stations and equipment, and ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and food‑safety standards.
• Support opening, closing and inventory procedures, and assist colleagues during busy periods.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality, Hotel Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years’ experience as a waiter or waitress in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining restaurant.
• Previous experience in French, Italian or European fine‑dining concepts is highly preferred.
• Experience in Forbes Five‑Star or Michelin‑standard establishments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
