Warehouse Keeper – Materials & Waste Management

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Keeper to manage raw material (RM) and other material (ORM) flows, waste handling and inventory tasks within our warehouse operations. The role ensures accurate material issuance, proper waste segregation and timely stock updates in the ERP system. You will work closely with production teams, forklift drivers and warehouse management to keep material movements efficient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Receive RM/ORM requisition forms from the Production Team Leader and verify physical availability and storage location.
• Coordinate with the forklift driver to gather requested material in a designated area and tally against the requisition form.
• Issue approved material in the ERP system after verification by the Material Feeder.
• Oversee waste segregation and baling activities, ensuring proper execution by balers.
• Receive daily waste from the plant, weigh each pallet in the presence of a Production representative, label weight, and update waste figures in the ERP system.
• Prepare Waste Delivery Notes and obtain Warehouse Management approval.
• Inspect incoming RM/ORM shipments, cross‑check packing lists, verify truck hygiene, and update stock in the ERP system after QC approval.
• Conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts as instructed and relay inventory reports to Warehouse Management.

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records.
